
As a professional in tax analysis and financial planning for more than 15 years, Richard specializes in individual and small business wealth management and taxation counsel. He began his career in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice of Arthur Andersen, and was later promoted to a management role with their former Carolinas practice at Grant Thornton. His time on the front lines of the start-up phase of Grant Thornton ignited in him a desire to provide unmatched, service-based counsel to clients in a proactive, precise, and transparent manner.
Richard left the world of corporate finance to provide wealth management counsel to individuals, families, and businesses. He is committed to serving others with his industry knowledge and is passionate about imparting practical methods and empowering people to take control of their financial present and future.
Richard resides in Rock Hill, South Carolina with his wife, Marie and their two sons, Harris (7) and James (5).
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
Richard graduated from Furman University with a B.S. in Accounting and Spanish. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited Investment Fiduciary, and Professional Plan Consultant.
